About Outpace Personal Training
Dan O'Donnell - Managing Director

Dan O'Donnell started Outpace Personal Training after many years combining
elite level training with a busy career working as a professional advisor to owners of some
of Australia's top-performing small to medium businesses.
He gave up this promising career to follow his love of fitness and his passion for guiding and motivating others on how to enjoy their lives more by increasing their fitness levels.
Dan says, "To achieve great results when you have limited time requires
smart training first, and it requires support. Top performers in every
field almost always have a coach so if the average person wants to get
the best from their fitness then they need a coach too. As a trainer,
there is great satisfaction in seeing a client achieve what they want
and knowing that you had a role in that. No matter what level a client
starts at, it is great to see them improve and become more confident as
they get control of their fitness."
Rather than being a personal trainer who preaches but doesn't practice
what they say, Dan lives with fitness as a core part of his life. His
achievements include:
- Ranked as high as 5 in Australia for track running (3000m Steeplechase)
- Selected for the Australian Age group Duathlon Team.
- Becoming the first Queenslander to umpire an AFL Wizard Cup Grand
Final when he officiated Carlton vs West Coast in 2005.
He has also experienced first hand the challenge of getting your fitness
back when he started from scratch after overcoming a bout of glandular
fever that resulted in him not training for two years.
Dan currently runs competitively in middle distance events and is an
AFL Boundary Umpire at the highest level of the game.
